How to Crochet the Linked Double Crochet (Ldc)

The linked double crochet (Ldc) is a great variation of the double crochet stitch which is exactly how it's name implies. This stitch "links" the double crochets giving the project a more solid look.

Reader Challenge: Using any pattern that uses mainly the basic double crochet, Replace the double crochet stitches with linked double crochet - just make sure to check your gauge and adjust your hook or yarn weight accordingly. And don't worry if the pattern has increase / decreases in it, my next post demonstrates those.
