Free Legwarmer Crochet Pattern and Tutorial

It's really just a single crochet Legwarmers

In this tutorial we will create a set of legwarmers (sized Toddler through Adult) using only the single crochet (slip stitch and chain are also used) - or a variation of. We will learn the extended single crochet (Xsc), which gives each single crochet a little more height, almost the height of a double crochet. But unlike the double crochet, you will get a nice, light airy stitch.

The pattern for these legwarmers is followed by a slideshow tutorial taking you step-by-step through the pattern instructions with photo illustrations of the creation of the stitches, the slideshow will take you through the creation of the Child size legwarmers, with notes on the instructions for the other 3 sizes. If you would like to skip the tutorial and posted pattern just scroll down to the bottom of the post to access a PDF version of the free pattern to download or print.
